Walk with Jesus.

Throughout the week, Tribe members will go on a journey “walking” Jesus’ path through Jerusalem that led to the cross and ultimately brought God’s greatest gift of love to completion. Jesus’ walk through Jerusalem had some major ups and downs, to say the least. Jesus experienced joy and love in his friendships with the disciples and those who welcomed him into

Jerusalem, but he also experienced rejection, severe stress, and great emotional and physical pain in his death. But as everyone will celebrate on Day 5, there’s hope because it didn’t end there—Jesus lives!

Every Tribe member of any age will be able to relate to Jesus’ experiences in Jerusalem in some way. Tribes will discover we can walk with Jesus as we live today. We can draw strength, guidance, and hope from all Jesus experienced in Jerusalem and know he walks closely with us now through our own experiences.

During Jerusalem Marketplace VBS, kids and adults will be challenged to share their faith in God with shopkeepers, the Synagogue School Leader, and the Village Playground Leader! In field testing, this was a highlight of the program because it allowed participants to practice sharing their faith in a safe environment. Talk about real life application!
